People usually, suffer about twice in a year from severe common cold, and about 4 times from milder common cold. Nasal allergic people suffer from runny nose almost round the year. Both normal and allergic people may suffer from runny nose whenever they inhale pollutants like automobile smoke etc. Cold water treatment CWT provides 100% relief from nasal allergy and milder common colds. I have explained the idea behind COLD WATER TREATMENT (CWT) in the following paragraphs. Scientific Explanation For CWT We are aware of the facts:-
Now, let us see how we can use these cool facts to stop the development of inflammation of the anterior portion of the nasal cavities (APNC), and prevent runny nose. During the development of inflammation in the (APNC) area, we get some initial nasal sensations in the form of itching, sneezing, watery nasal secretions, burning sensation, headaches, nasal congestion. After sensing any of these sensations in any nasal cavity, if we immerse the anterior portion of the nasal cavity (APNC) in cold water in the range of 5 to 25 degree Celsius, and lift up the nose, we can expect the following things to happen:-
We will refer to the above described treatment as: COLD WATER TREATMENT (CWT) here afterwards. IMP NOTE: It is always advantageous to resort to CWT regularly without waiting for runny nose symptoms to show up.
Method Of Cold Water Treatment (CWT) Pour some cold water with temperature in the range of 5 to 25 degree Celsius in your left palm. Now, with the help of the bulgy muscle below the thumb of your left palm, press the left nasal cavity to keep it closed and suck the cold water slowly into your right nasal cavity, so that, it enters the nasal cavity for about 5 cms. Take the nose out of palm, and allow the water from the nose to fall into wash basin. Once again suck the cold water slowly into right nasal cavity and allow the water to fall into wash basin. Now, pour some fresh cold water, into the same left palm. Close the right nasal cavity with the help of the muscle below your small finger and suck the water into the left nasal cavity as described in the above paragraph and allow the water to drop into wash basin. Repeat this cold water treatment once again for the left nasal cavity. Each nasal cavity, should be treated twice each time with cold water in order to ensure that the proper cooling and rinsing of the nasal cavities takes place. Similarly, you can do the cold water treatment using your right palm. After some practice, you will be able to suck water into both nasal cavities simultaneously. A Note For The first Time Users Initially, when one starts this treatment, he/she may experience a little burning sensation in the nose and a sort of slight headache for few minutes (similar to that when water enters into nose after dipping head in a swimming pool). This indicates the presence of some amount of higher sensitization in the nasal cavity. After few times of CWT, one will not feel this burning sensation as the sensitization comes to normal level. IMP NOTE:- One has to draw the water to a LIMITED EXTENT of about 5 cms; this does not cause any pain after few attempts. There is no need to draw the water with such a force so that it enters mouth. One should ensure that the water used for CWT is hygienic and chemically non reactive or tolerable.
